Whether you live in the US or not, you had to have seen the ‘Dons,’ aka the heads of the “four families” (FB, Zon, Apple, Google) sitting before the US Congress late last week. And yes, nothing happened to note…yet.
But these big platforms change really fast. A month ago, people were teaching us how to be a TikTok influencer. By next week, we don’t even know if you’ll be able to use the app in the US (they’re banned in India already). Even more interesting, Microsoft (who owns LinkedIn) was looking and is still looking to buy it. Who puts it past them to change LinkedIn, if they get their paws on TikTok? And I say that as somebody that likes them.
What does all of this mean? It means that every minute you spend building your empire on their platform is a minute you spend building on something subject to change on you without notice. That ultimately means that you and I need to be spending equal time building our own empire and platform that we do as we rent theirs. You could be out on your virtual rear end next week. 2 hours with ‘The Mob’ means you need to spend at least 2 hours on your own platform. Equal time.
I’ve taught this in the PLR course E-Learning Playbook…how to build out a video Learning Center:

I’m teaching how to build the Learning Center in the Hackathon. If you follow the track, in 4 weeks, you could have your videos on your own video platform.

I’m teaching this in the advanced version of Teachable PLR over-the-shoulder videos which I will be releasing later on this week. You can be first to find out about the release by being on the Ultimate Insider Waiting list here:
